Sunrises carry a certain mystery; the promise of new beginnings and clean slates. At De Zeven we have the privilege of witnessing exquisite sunrises, whether the weather is warm and clear or cool and unpredictable. We recently captured a few snaps of the sun breaking over the Banhoek valley on a crisp spring morning and it inspired us to investigate sunrises a little deeper.
While the streets are less busy and many go into hibernation, winter in the winelands comes with its own charm and opportunity. The Cape Winelands alone is host to a number of events geared to visitors wanting to keep it cosy or those more adventurous to get out and about. Sourcing the perfect location for an executive, corporate retreat is never an easy task, and there are a myriad of things to take into consideration. This room and the whole of the guest house is very very beautifully decorated! All the rooms are different. You can book the room... Read More

The breakfast was excellent, and Johanna went above and beyond to ensure our expectations were exceeded... Read More

One of the most unique locations in the Winelands offering incredible views, a serene environment and the perfect location between both Stellenbosch and Franschhoek from which to explore both towns. Their staff are hugely accommodating and will undertake every effort to make your stay memorable. Would definitely recommend this magnificent guesthouse for guests expecting an extraordinary breakaway.
