Sourcing the perfect location for an executive, corporate retreat is never an easy task, and there are a myriad of things to take into consideration. You may be searching for something quirky, yet comfortable; a dash of adventure with a touch of luxury; something off the beaten track but still close to all the gems that a nearby town has to offer… De Zeven Guest Lodge has got it all.
Saunas have come a long way since they were first created in Northern Europe, being nothing more than large pits in the ground covered in animal hides, with a fire burning inside beneath a pile of stones.
While still relatively undiscovered, the Banhoek Valley and Conservancy has a growing number of restaurants, wine estates, hiking and cycling trails and of course stunning viewpoints on beautiful estates. This is our lovely neighbourhood and if you're planning a stay at De Zeven, you'll enjoy this guide to our wonderful neighbours.

Here are some of the adventures that lie in wait in the Banhoek Valley:

This room and the whole of the guest house is very very beautifully decorated! All the rooms are different. You can book the room... Read More

This applies whether you are in your room, the pool, or the lounge areas. Everything about the place is breathtaking. The breakfast was excellent, and Johanna went above and beyond to ensure our expectations were exceeded... Read More

One of the most unique locations in the Winelands offering incredible views, a serene environment and the perfect location between both Stellenbosch and Franschhoek from which to explore both towns. Their staff are hugely accommodating and will undertake every effort to make your stay memorable. Would definitely recommend this magnificent guesthouse for guests expecting an extraordinary breakaway.
