February was an exciting time for De Zeven Guest Lodge, as we were privileged to host a blend of Africa’s current and upcoming talent for the emPawa Africa musical masterclass competition. Among our guests were celebrated African artists Mr Eazi, DSK on the beat, Simba Tagz as well as the competitions 10 finalists.

If you paid a visit to the City of Oaks in the first week of February this year, you would have found yourself slap bang in the middle of the Harvest Parade. This colourful parade, filled with tractors, trucks, trailers and a whole lot of singing invites the people of the town to celebrate the beginning of the Harvest Season.

Celebrating its 19th year running, the University of Stellenbosch’s Woordfees is back! This unique festival held from 1 – 10 March is a celebration of all things South African, and Stellenbosch and the perfect playground for writers, musicians, and artists of all kinds.
