The accommodation was very well located, very clean and well-equipped. At the beginning there was a glass of wine directly. You could use the pool to relax and enjoy the beautiful view. Several very good wineries are in close proximity. The room was very big and clean. The staff was very helpful. My white blouse, which I had unfortunately covered with red wine, was washed for me and the stains all went out. The service was more than good. The breakfast was really delicious. What can you say, one of the best accommodations on our trip.

Fantastic from start to finish. Beautiful accommodation and surroundings. Lots of different areas to sit in throughout the day for a change of scenery / shade. Every window seemed to frame another amazing view. Welcomed as if returning, despite being our first stay. Great breakfast. Staff extremely friendly and helpful.

Most incredible hotel from start to finish. The staff are so kind and welcoming. The hotel grounds are presented so beautifully with incredible views. The rooms are very spacious and very well decorated. Breakfast is delicious with lots of personal options. Great location for getting around Stellenbosch! Had the most wonderful time and definitely will be back.

View and location excellent - beautifully nestled in the mountains in Stellenbosch, very nice pool area - Pure peace. Great mix between modern and retro look.

It is a very nice place to stay in a great location. By car you are in Stellenbosch in a few minutes. The rooms as well as the pool area are very well maintained. The breakfast is very good. The owners welcomed us very warmly.

We had a wonderful stay at De Zeven. A very warm welcome, excellent service, great breakfast and an amazing view of the mountains.
During our 2 weeks trip to South Africa, we stayed four nights here and this was the best and most beautiful and romantic stay. We really enjoyed our stay and can highly recommend De Zeven.

We look back on 5 wonderful days in this professionally and at the same time warmly managed accommodation. The morning begins with a small but very high quality breakfast buffet, which includes a variety of fresh fruit in addition to very high quality meats and cheeses. The scenery with the unique view of the valley and the mountain landscape is breathtaking. The day can be spent in the numerous very nearby wineries, in the lively student town of Stellenbosch (about 10 minutes away by car) or by the pool in the middle of a lovingly landscaped garden. In the evening, there is the possibility to order an inexpensive cheese platter and to fall back on various wines of the house. The prices here are very fair. We were also impressed by the beautiful room and the very kind staff. If you are looking for a place to dream, relax and atmosphere and at the same time do not want to do without a certain comfort, this is exactly the right place. We look forward to visiting this retreat again soon.

We were already there for the third time and always find it top. The location is very nice, room and breakfast as well.

An idyllic get away. Gorgeous views, decor and staff. We were completely blown away by everything from the moment we checked into De Zeven. The guest lodge is perfectly located and has great views. The entire place is decorated beautifully and smells divine. The staff were extremely welcoming and attentive throughout our stay, making sure that we had everything we needed. If you are looking for an intimate, yet secluded place to stay then this is the one. We couldn’t have been happier here, the only thing I would have changed would have to have stayed longer than 2 nights! I cannot wait to return to this paradise.
