Everything about De Zeven was exceptional. Probably the most beautiful place we’ve been both inside and out. Our room was gorgeous with incredible views of the mountains and surrounding landscape. The staff was wonderful as well. Could not have had a more wonderful experience.

We stayed at De Zevern as part of our honeymoon trip and it met all of our expectations.
It was a stunningly beautiful place with amazing far reaching views. The pool and pool area is beautifully kept with lovely plants all around. The breakfast and patio areas are beautiful with lots of interesting artwork and books to flick through. All of the staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful.
The room was nice and spacious with a sofa area, big bath and lovely bathroom. Comfy bad and a fantastic view!
De Zevern is in a great location to explore the local vineyards then get back to the lodge to enjoy a glass or two and take in the view.
All in all it was a wonderful place to stay and will highly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

My partner and I visited De Zeven Guest Lodge for two nights. It was an amazing experience! We loved meeting Adrian and his team. The service was exemplary and welcoming. The facilities were first rate—the room was well appointed, the bed very comfortable, and the bath and shower incredibly relaxing. The surrounding scenery was awe-inspiring! Such a special part of the world. We enjoyed the common areas, especially the fireplace. De Zeven Guest Lodge is a great base to explore Stellenbosch and surrounds, including the incredible wineries. Highly recommended, and we hope to be back soon!

We spent nearly a week enjoying the spectacular views and unbelievable company that De Zeven offers. When looking for a place to celebrate my 40th birthday I knew we were onto a winner once we saw the pictures online… but in truth the pictures just didn’t do De Zeven justice, it was beyond our wildest expectations. From the first welcome the staff were friendly, caring and engaging. The breakfast was delicious, their own wine moreish, the views spectacular, the location was the perfect balance of secluded and close to town.
But it is the people (and cat) that make the place feel like home. Nothing was a bother, every question was answered and we are ever so grateful for you superb hospitality. It goes without saying that the basics were covered, impeccably clean, beds extremely comfortable, warm and cared for.
Quite simply the finest hotel we have ever stayed in.
Keep up the good work you are an absolute gem in the Stellenbosch landscape. We will return as we didn’t want to leave.

If a 5* offering, at 4* rates and exceptional service, is for you as important as product offering; and De Zeven is NOT YET on your ticked-off list, then you are depriving yourself, from what you so much, deserve - my wife and I returned to this outstanding property which is a rather unique type of offering and will supercede your wildest expectations - Dianne and Rozanne in the restaurant left a long lasting and positive impression - their attention to detail and effectiveness will impress just about any foreign tourists and locals alike - if the hospitality industry could employ more of them, it would be great for the winelands - Husband and wife team, Nikki and Adriaan are clearly not just managing the team, but exceptional leaders - we will continue to support this great team, which are worthy of recognition and hope to return soon.

My husband and I stayed here while we explored the winelands as part of our South African honeymoon. The stay was incredible and everything we had hoped for. It was quiet and relaxing, the rooms were huge and spotless, the pool was clean and refreshing, breakfast was delicious and the staff was very attentive. But the views and scenery were by far the best part. It was our mini paradise being tucked away in the mountains, surrounded by gorgeous purple lavender bushes, with a glass of wine enjoying the sun or the stars!

We spent 4 wonderful days in this little paradise in Stellenbosch. A beautiful lodge, stylishly decorated, a warm welcome... from the very beginning, we felt at home. The breakfast was delicious, and since we had already made reservations at restaurants, we unfortunately couldn't try the little delicacies that the house offers. The wine bar was well stocked, and there were so many lovely nooks to retreat with a glass of wine. The view of the valley from the lodge is simply breathtaking. The extensive garden is wonderfully maintained, and in the early morning, the lounges and seating in the garden are already prepared.
If needed, you can also use a sauna (with an equally beautiful view of the vineyards). A huge compliment to the entire team
